About Handmade Products

• All our products are handmade with pride and care. Every piece will have it's own individual characteristics and imperfections inherent to the natural properties of the leathers, hand-mixed dyes and hand-spun silks we use. Please understand that sometimes there may be minimal variations in colour and finish from product to product. These are not machine made items they are unique pieces for unique people.

Product Description & Prices

• We take every care to ensure that the descriptions, prices and dimensions of our products are correct at the time of publishing however, are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to accurately reproduce the colour of products in all imagery. However, we cannot accept and responsibility for variations in colour caused by browser software or a customers computer.

PAYMENT AND DELIVERY

Payment

• We accept online payment in a secure environment by credit or debit card. We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Delta, Solo, Switch and Maestro.
• All transactions are shown and charged in £ Sterling.

Fulfilling Your Order and Dispatch

• Upon acceptance of your order, you will be sent a confirmation by email. At this point there will be a binding legal contract between us.
• If for any reason we are unable to fulfil your order, or part order, or process your payment for any reason you will be notified as soon as possible.
• After requisite credit card checks and verification of delivery/billing address, your order will be dispatched within 2 working days, unless you have requested next day delivery. Please note that orders received after 2pm (GMT) on Friday will be shipped by the following Tuesday.
• NV London Calcutta will make every effort to deliver by the date stated on our website or agreed via email, but we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery.

International Duties and Taxes

• For shipping outside the EEC, please note that your order will be shipped exclusive of import duties and customs charges- ie DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). In some countries you may also be requested to pay additional import duties and local sales taxes at the time your order is delivered to you.
• In the event that you may wish to return any item, please note that import duties and local sales taxes will not be refundable by us.

Postage and Delivery

• Next Day Delivery orders must be placed before 2pm UK time. Next day deliveries placed on weekends, or after 2pm on a Friday, will be delivered on Tuesday.
• International Deliveries are charged according to two zones (Europe or Rest of World). Please allow up to 14 days for international deliveries.
• There are no deliveries on weekends or bank holidays.

Cancellations

• You have the statutory right to cancel your order, whether of not the goods are found to be defective on delivery.
• Please send an email (within 7 days of receipt of goods) to ‘Contact@NVLondonCalcutta.com’ stating your order number in the subject and reasoning in the message body. Please note: You should keep a note of proof of delivery.
• Goods should be returned to us no later than 7 days of your notice of cancellation.
• Simply repackage the item(s) securely, together with the original packaging, and send it back to us. This to be at your cost unless the goods are defective or do not marry up with the description
• We recommend that you return items using recorded post and retain proof of postage as well as insure items
• If goods are returned having been damaged whist in your care or damaged having not been repackaged with due care and are not in a saleable condition, we must remind you that you are breaching your statutory duty and we may make a claim.

• Returns will be refunded as soon as possible after receipt of your notice of cancellation (guaranteed within 30 days) on to the original credit or debit card only for the amount indicated on your delivery documentation, which will include shipping and postage.

Exchanges

• We believe you will be extremely happy with your NV London Calcutta purchase. However, we realise that sometimes you may wish to choose another size or colour, or simply change your mind.
• Please send an email (within 7 days of receipt of goods) to ‘Contact@NVLondonCalcutta.com’ stating your order number in the subject line and your intention and reasoning to exchange the product(s) and the desired replacement.
• Goods should be returned to us no later than 7 days of your notice of exchange. Simply repackage the item(s) securely including the original packaging and send it back to us.
• We recommend that you return items using recorded post and retain proof of postage as well as insure items, as we cannot accept responsibility for any loss during transit.
• Once the original goods are received back by us, in saleable condition (unless found to be faulty on receipt by you), with the original packaging included, we will issue an exchange.
• Please note exchanges are made at your own expense. Postage/Shipping and handling charges for the return of items (unless the goods are faulty or do not marry up with the description) and delivery of substitute goods will be payable by you.
• If goods are returned having been damaged whilst in your care or damaged having not been repackaged with due care, we must remind you that you are breaching your statutory duty and we may make a claim.

• Exchanges will be made as soon as possible (guaranteed within 30 days of delivery to us of the original goods in saleable condition)
• Any additional product costs for items more expensive than the original plus delivery will be charged to the original credit card used to pay for the goods. If the substitute goods are cheaper you will receive a credit to your original credit card.
• We are unable to exchange any SALE items unless the goods are faulty or did not marry up with the description given.
  

PRIVACY

• We exercise all reasonable precaution to keep your information and details strictly confidential and conform to the Data Protection Act; never supply or pass on customer information to third parties.

GENERAL

• We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on this website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use the site. Your continued use of the website shall signify your agreement to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
• We do not record details of your order for you to subsequently access direct from this website. Accordingly, we suggest you print out these terms and conditions and the order acknowledgement email for your own records.
• While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it.
• Other than as expressly provided in these terms and conditions any express or implied indemnities, warranties, terms and conditions are hereby excluded to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable, in contract, tort other than fraudulent on negligent misrepresentations) or otherwise of or in connection with the supply or intended supply of goods under these terms and conditions for any:
  - economic losses (including without limitation loss of profit, contracts, business or anticipated savings); or
  - loss of goodwill or reputation; or
  - special or indirect losses.
• Any contract between us and these terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and any dispute between us will be determined exclusively in the courts of England.
• You may not assign or sub-contract any of your rights or obligations under these terms and conditions to any third party.
• If any part of these terms and conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
• The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 shall not apply to any contract entered into pursuant to these terms and conditions.
